About me

Based in Montreal, I am an illustrator and author working at the crossroads of visual storytelling and print art. My work explores illustration as a tool for introspective and emotional storytelling, where I address themes of nostalgia, identity, and transformation.

I studied Fine Arts at Concordia University in Montreal and Paul-Valéry University in Montpellier. My studies and practice allowed me to bring together strong draftsmanship and a keen sense of narrative. Today, I collaborate with video production, advertising, and immersive digital studios, creating storyboards, animatics, and visual concepts for films, shows, commercials, and interactive experiences.

Alongside my commissioned work, I develop a personal illustration practice through Karima Designs, my online shop featuring art prints and original works inspired by Montreal and my travels, often infused with a retro aesthetic.

My love for storytelling has also brought me to write and illustrate comics over the years. In 2025, I self-published my first debut graphic novel in french “Les pieds d’Isadora” and won the Bédélys award of best self published comic in Quebec.

Whether guiding a film crew through a storyboard or creating an illustration meant to be framed, I approach every project with the same intention: to tell a story—one image at a time.
